fifty-two on fridays: week two | temecula family photographer

our Fifty-two on Fridays creative theme for this week is “Black and White”.  i cant think of any other way to process these images from this week because my memory recalls this evening all just like a black and white photograph- a perfect still.

the constant beat of the holidays is over and Ive never been so ready to slow down and take it all in . this little household is about to change very soon and i refuse to let the next few months slip away from me. this week, i spent a lot of the time in my pjs just playing with my kids. My alone time with each of them is so minimal that i find myself grasping at these moments when I can. lately, i’ve let my son stay up too many nights with me to watch E.T., Wizard of Oz and The Sandlot.  there aren’t many years left were he will want to spend a few hours alone with his mom watching a movie and sharing a bowl of popcorn but i have now and that counts more than anything.

one of the very best things we did this week was plan a camp out thanks to Crazy Forts- a very popular Christmas gift around here.  my husband is supreme when it comes to building forts but mom…not so much. this little frame kit made it all too easy for me- no furniture moving necessary.  if you’re feeling flustered, tired or a little unlike yourself- go make a batch of cookies and a tent, i promise you’ll feel a whole heck of a lot better.

don’t forget to follow the link at the bottom of the image to take your tour of my fellow’s Fifty-two on Fridays! you’re in for a treat, these ladies blow my mind. if you missed last week, don’t fret. its here.

Now head on over to Carrie Small Photography Fayetteville NC Photographer to get rolling…
