fifty-two on fridays: week seven | temecula family photographer

i’ve known and loved this little girl since the day she was born. now age 12. well…12 and 3/4 if you ask her. D  is the daughter of one of my oldest friends and she reminds me so much of me when i was this age. on the brink of experiencing so many things,  i wish i could tell her to hang onto 12 a little bit longer. the perfect little space between childhood dreams and teenage woes: not a bill to pay, no one has broken your heart yet and you feel like you’re capable of just about anything.

the innocent part of life cant last forever and with that, i so look forward to finding out what this little spitfire will become. because when it all comes around, little dreams are meant to be broken so that bigger ones take their place and hearts are crushed so you notice the other possibility around the corner. who doesn’t want to experience that? innocent forever or not, i hope she never ever forgets that she truly is capable of ANYTHING.

if you need to catch up on the last few weeks, here are the links! and dont forget to follow the link to Breeze Floyd | CT to start your tour of the other “innocence” images!
