just got home from an amazingly therapeutic and inspiring weekend in Dallas, TX for the Face 2 Face Workshop. its Friday and i’m still managing to live out of my suitcase- totally fashionable, kind of how i imagine Reese or Zooey does, sort of…a little bit. id have to say lately fashion in our house is slim picking. you put on a fresh pair of jeans and within 15 minutes, you have mashed up banana or snot on them. needless to say, i don’t try that hard to “put a look together”. i’ve been over thinking this week’s theme because of the state of things to come- when you’re 34 weeks pregnant, fashion and style are not on your radar. but alas, i have a baby girl in my life and she’s all about it.
yesterday, i walked into my bedroom only to find little miss had broken into my suitcase and had had her way with my makeup bag and a few scarves. i didn’t even think to get my camera for several minutes because i was frozen in amazement as she did her thing. Chris and i couldn’t figure out how she knew what to do with everything but she went about her business just like her mama does when she gets ready in front of the same mirror.
