fifty-two on fridays: week 20 | temecula family photographer

i came across these little bits while cleaning out the kids’ closets and trying to purge. Chris says he’s concerned that i may be on an episode of “Hoarders” soon because in all honestly, i really can never throw out a thing having to do with our wee ones. it’s equally hard for me to give away any of my children’s clothes because like most women, i attach a memory to each and every outfit.

luckily, in my weepy postpartum moment, my dear husband alotted me a few items i could keep. amongst the tiny pile are these broken in “just learned to walk” shoes of my first born- my Jack. I love how every little toe has left it’s print on the worn in leather from his hundreds of proud steps.

they are broken in the best way…

Val - Awww how sweet is this!!! I have a box in the garage where I keep all my very favorite/meaningful clothes that don’t fit the girls anymore. My Mom saved several pieces from when I was a little girl and I get chocked up every time the girls wear them.
LOVE the light and off course there’s nothing like a well loved pair of Salt Water Sandals.

Stephanie Moore {Tucson AZ Photographer} - I love the little Salt Water Sandals, so precious. I am totally the opposite of a hoarder and I hate that sometimes. I will toss things constantly and often regret I tossed it. You are such a good Mommy!
