since recieving umbrellas from the Easter bunny, these two have been dying to use to put them to use. too bad for them, they live in sunny Southern California and we dont ever have much of that rain thing going on. they even asked if they could take them in the shower. nope. not happening. i believe thats a trip to the ER in the making.
so while Violet finally got around to taking a nap yesterday, we broke out the brand new sprinkler and the ever so gently used swords/umbrellas. it was the perfect timing because water is our 52 on fridays theme this week. a perfect theme to kick off the summer indeed. i also got to break out my new toy, the Lensbaby Composer. its taken some time to get used to it but its starting to feel like a new friend: a tempermental, extremely fussy friend who is still fun to play with.
