i knew late last year that I wanted to start a project for 2012 that revolved around my favorite day of the week, Sunday. although i took a bit of a blogcation this month, i kept focused on this project and shot with it in mind.
through my life, Sunday has been the magic day of the week where my family was always close together. it was never a perfect day by any means; i’m sure my mom can attest to my brothers and i fighting just as much as any other day and the floors were just as filthy but, we were together after all. now that i’m older with my own children, Sunday holds even heavier weight. my husband travels so much and Sunday seems to be the day that no matter where he’s going or where he’s been, he’s home with us. its the day we regroup as a unit and slough off the last week’s dust.
so ive decided to document my Sundays this year and pay a bit more of a tribute to them. because i have the faintest of feelings that when im old and very grey, i will reminisce about Sundays most…
Lionel doesn’t say “easy like Sunday morning” for nothin’.
